In short
The Quitto app collects nothing. No account, no tracking, no analytics, no servers of our own. Your receipts and data stay on your device. The only internet access is a public exchange-rate service of the European Central Bank — read-only, with no data of yours transmitted. This website sets no tracking cookies; the host processes technically necessary server logs.
The Quitto app
Quitto processes all content — receipts, recognised text, invoices, categories and reports — exclusively on your device. No user data is transmitted to us. If you turn on sync, your data is synced encrypted through your own iCloud between your Apple devices — Apple's privacy policy applies to that. We have no access to it.
Exchange-rate request
If you record a receipt in a foreign currency, Quitto fetches the publicly available exchange-rate service of the European Central Bank. This request is read-only; no receipt or user data is sent to the ECB or any third party.
Website server logs
When you access this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time, page requested) for delivery and security. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No profiling takes place.
